BEEKEEPING Program After School

Bee U is a middle school beekeeping program. Bridges has collaborated with the program to help students create a logo, to plan a summer program, to write personal story cards about their experience, and to prepare an educational exhibit for a community event. The program adapted a Positive Youth Development activity, that is, voting together for healthy snacks using the Eat a Rainbow and TAKE CHARGE!® Rainbow Color theme. Photo is a taste test to compare local honey and “brand x”!
